Brian Kellner, Greg Avent, Michael D. Rudd, Josh Ballard, Emilee Knopp
Coach Rudd played football and basketball at Glen Burnie. He attended Towson State on a football scholarship. Rudd served as assistant basketball coach 10 years, becoming the head coach in 1996 with a career record of 414 - 257(.617) and has led the Gophers to 25 winning seasons. Coach Rudd was named by the Washington Post as the Anne Arundel County Coach of the Year in 2006-2007. In 2002-2003, he was the Anne Arundel County Coach Of The Year & Baltimore Metro Coach Of The Year. In October 2007, he was invited to speak at the DC Basketball Clinic. His topic: Inside Game: Motion Man Offense. He serves as a Behavior Student Asssistant for GBHS. 
Coach Kellner is a 1999 Glen Burnie graduate. He played basketball for Coach Rudd and was also a baseball player. He was the leadoff batter and center-fielder for the GB 1999 state champion baseball team. A 2003 graduate of Salisbury University, he played one year of baseball at Salisbury. He joined the basketball staff in 2006. Brian is a member of the Physical Education Dept., as well as Assistant Athletic Director. Brian earned a Masters in Math Education from University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2010. He is the Glen Burnie Head Baseball Coach.
Emilee Knopp joined the Gopher Staff in 2021. She is a 2018 graduate of Glen Burnie where she played basketball and softball. She started coaching in 2018 with the Greater Glen Burnie Recreational League & has been involved with the Glen Burnie Basketball Program since 2014, volunteering with the Summer Basketball Camp and serving as game scorekeeper. Emilee is now an Assistant Coach with the Gophers and Head Coach of the Boys Marley Middle School. In 2023 she joined the GB staff as a Student Advocate . .
Greg Avent graduated Glen Burnie in 2016, and is a 2021 graduate of Bethany College where he played football 4 years. Greg joined the GB Tech Ed Dept and the basketball staff in 2022. As well as playing basketball under Coach Rudd, Greg played football and baseball at Glen Burnie,
Josh Ballard is a 2014 GBHS graduate and graduated Fairmont State University 2018. He was both a 2 year varsity basketball and football player for Glen Burnie and a 4 year starter for the Fairmont Falcon football team. Josh began his coaching career with the Falcons football team and moved back home to continue coaching with the GB Football and Girls Basketball team. Josh joined the boys' basketball team in 2024. He is employed at NSA.
